Why Google will never be Apple or even WalMart for that matter

FYI => A couple weeks ago I opened an account on Google Play. That included a new Gmail where I did verify ID via SMS. I purchased three albums and went on with my life.

As it turned out I was also supposed to click a link in an email to verify my new account. I had never noticed that email. I never got a follow up email, “Hey, are you going to verify?”. Nuttin’. I got nuttin’.

A couple days ago I went back to get my albums only to find out I no longer had an account. OK, “stuff” happens. I’m obviously not perfect either—nobody is. That being said, there’s not a single customer service contact on Google Music. If there is, it’s certainly not easy to find.


Doesn’t Google Play realize they’re an e-comm company? How can you have an e-comm company and not have customer service?

That’s not only evil…it’s crap.
