Yes, but how many times has marketing not performed? Or HR not performed? Why is it in a team sport (i.e., business) does IT so often get blamed for the losses and get no credit for the Ws?When did IT become the coaching staff?

I agree, that IT is often flawed, but so is every other department. When was the last time a non-IT person stepped forward and said, “Opps. We did a crap job stating our business needs. We got what we wanted but not what we needed. That’s our fault too.”? Instead the blame IT cliche persists and this article maintains that status quo. That doesn’t seem quite right.
