Let’s be honest…there’s quite a bit of web design that should probably be called web over-design. Facebook and Quora understand their role. They are not the show. The content is the show. FB and Q are the stage. No one goes to a show/event to watch the stage, yes?

There are plenty of sites and designers who would be wise to stop putting themselves first.
