I think this is kinda hinted on already but none the less I’d like to chime in.

I would recommend you follow a strategy that skips past those who are at this stage in the evolution. There’s a reason you don’t take a 5 year old to a fine dining restaurant – they just wouldn’t understand. Your resources would be better spent pursuing people who wish to buy what you’re selling.

Instead, target those who have outgrown Website 101. Those who understand that there’s more to website success in 2011 than a handful of static pages and a pretty design. Look for clients who are looking to make a proper investment in their brand and their iproperty. If they call it an expense then toss in the towel and move on.

We all know the saying: If I have to explain it to you, you probably wouldn’t understand. Let low ball Joe/Jane be someone else’s ball and chain. You’ve got bigger and better fish to fry.
