Business Consulting For The 21st Century Via A Holistic & Intelligent Approach

Steve Jobs is no Christopher Columbus

Answered => “Who is the greatest entrepreneur ever and why?” on Quora.

=> My answer…

Really? No one mentioned any of the great “explorers”? Certainly Columbus, Magellan, et al had a much bigger and broader impact on the future of the world than most of those listed thus far.

Perhaps my definition is a bit broad. However, in the true spirit of being entrepreneurial, risking life & limb to find a new way to the Far East (in order to trade) sounds pretty innovative to me. Sam Walton, Steve Jobs, etc. probably weren’t willing to die to get the job done. Nor were their accomplishments as great.

btw, it also seems that for the most part those listed are citizens of 20th and 21th centuries. Have the stopped teaching history in biz school?
