Services reviewed: Adorama, Aperature (4 stars), Blurb, Kodak (4 stars), MPix, MyPublisher (4 stars), Picaboo, Shutterfly, Smilebooks, Snapfish.

Given that there are always special discounts, on a dollar for dollar basis, photo books make great promo item.  Or for NPOs, maybe a gift to major donors after an event they might have sponsored and/or attended. The possibilities are endless.

While I’m here I feel compelled to ask, why in this day and age do some people still believe the (offline) page turning effect reenacted online is cool and/or cute? It’s not! Simply put, it’s stupid, as well as difficult to navigate. This could have been a simple blog post, with a PFD download of the summary. Instead it’s a PITA.
