Perfecting the lost art of the press release

Consumed => “How to Perfect Your Press Releases” by Rachel McCombie on SEOptimize.

Value add (i.e., left a comment)…

Given the limited time resources of most editors and journalists, I’d like to add I believe it’s smart to stick to quality. Get their attention and give enough detail to pull them in. Too long and too much detail can easily become TMI.

Keep it clean. Keep it tight. Short and sweet might be just enough to fill a column or gain a quick mention and a link. Gain their trust on some small stuff and pack some added punch when you have something exceptional.
