Business Consulting For The 21st Century Via A Holistic & Intelligent Approach

Online image editor Pixlr is a winner

FYI => Pixlr – A fully functional online photo editor. Looks good…

Obvously, it’s not Photoshop, Gimp or even Photoshop Elements. Yet? That said, it does have layers, history, filters, and can save to multiple formats including PNG. Evidently there are Firefox and Google Chrome browser  addons for grabbing a photo and bringing it right to Pixlr for editing. I haven’t tried that yet but the possibility is certainly appealing.

The other nice touch is that you don’t have to open an account to use it. You will if you want to save your work (with layers, etc.). But if it’s a quick & dirty crop, filter and add some text on top and you’re not going to have to go back to that, you can just save to your local client and be done. Again, in some instances very appealing.

I’ll have to do some additional work with it but my first impression is it’s a tool worthy of my tool box. What about you?
