NJ Green Program of Study is evaluating Yammer

FYI => A couple weeks back I got a call from Karla at ABS (ABSNJ.com). She asked if there was a tool for helping a geographically separated group communicate, share, ask questions, etc. Yup. Yammer!

Well, it’s official, NJ Green Program of Study’s (NJGreenProgramOfStudy.org) evaluating has begun. There’s a small test group and if that goes well they’ll expand it out. This is exciting.

Also, today was the first time I made the effort to explore Yammer’s Communities feature. Nice. A community is more or less a Yammer Network within/between Yammer Networks. What’s posted in the community stays in the community. Communities enable member of different Yammer networks to share a space to communicate and collaborate. For example, a customer can set up a community and then invite a vendor(s). That relationship can transpire within that Yammer Community.

Sliced bread better watch its back. It looks like Yammer is making a go for the title.
