Listening is a powerful tool and it’s free too

Consumed => “Companies That Listen Get Results” by Leonard Klie on Destination CRM.

For those who believe in listening this gets The Duh Award (and I mean that affectionately.) And for those who do not believe, the title probably scared them off anyway. Sad, yes?

Whether it’s social media or some other medium, there are organizations with listening in their DNA, and there are other far less interested in maximizing The Guest Experience. Those who insist on seeing their brand strictly through their own eyes are doomed to struggle – or worse.

In most cases all have access to the same strategies, tools, tactics, media, technology, etc. The difference is those possessing the wherewithal and the passion to rise are the ones that act, execute, analyze, tweak & repeat. It’s ironic how those that struggle fear of failure in the immediate eventually leads to catastrophic failure over the longterm.
