Obviously, using these new distribution channels are important. However, the message still matters. A LOT!

Facebook, YouTube, etc. are not going to take a sucky message and make it authentic and relevant. Also, “going viral” is too often a stupid goal. The objective is not getting more people to consume your message. The objective is getting the right people to consume your message. There’s a difference.

Yes, getting many can’t hurt but at least try to start with the right objective. That is, relevant content with quality consumption.
