0) If you don’t really have experience in this area then hire / engage a person / resource that does.
If you’re not going to do that then, at the very least, assign the responsibility to someone(s).
Prepping to market your product is, in many ways, part of product dev. Most who are not familiar with the (marketing) process believe it’s a just-snap-your-fingers-and-add-water talent.
That is, if you finish the product and then ask, “Now what?” you’re doing it all wrong.
