Is It Just Me?

Is there anything more “confusing” than a client who wants you to correct spelling in faux content?

Yes, as a matter of fact there is. It’s a client who refuses to make time to learn the content management system (CMS), in this case ExprerssionEngine, being used for their site.

For over three weeks now I’ve been asking to schedule a meeting so they can become familiar with the back end of their site, get acquainted with some of the more subtle features they can’t see (e.g., SEO stuff), as well as let them begin to shoe horn in their real content.

Instead I get, “Please correct the spelling of…” What’s an alchemist to do?
