Question => Interesting site, care to elaborate?

Answer => At the start of this endeavor the initial goals seemed fairly straightforward:

1) Design and develop a website that more accurately reflected my capabilities and holistic ideals. Needless to say, a 21st Century business consultant needs more than a traditional resume. I needed something that could keep pace with the dynamics of my evolution and growth, as well as the changes in the market.

2) Share that “work stream” in order to provide a diverse and easy to use resource to small and mid-size businesses, as well as non-profit organizations. That is, make it easy for the “work stream” to be harvested by others.

While I obviously appreciate social networks, I believe it is still important to have a hub. Specifically, a hub that is also SEO friendly.  Obviously, there is a Twitter-esque micro-message influence here. I wanted the listing pages to be minimalist and quickly scrollable but still informative (in a teaser, do-I-want-to-read-this sort of way). Less is more, if you will.

I believe it’s important to understand that this site is not just about design. Quite a bit of the model functions under the hood, behind the scenes and across social network. “Just a website,” this is not. To truly appreciate ChiefAlchemist.com, one must also have some understanding of the context and intention. I’d be happy to discuss any question or comments you might have.
