Guy Kawasaki an Android fan?

Consumed => “Apple Legend Guy Kawasaki Has Become A Hardcore Android Fan” by Dan Lyons on ReadWrite.

=> My value add (i.e., left a comment)…

Interesting, that’s for sure. With that said…

1) What leads you to believe Kawasaki is “hardcore” about Android? Hiss point about the USB cord?

2) I was going to let the previous point slide until I noticed you took a photo that Woz posed for and twisted that into some sort of anti-Apple statement. (Please note: I am not a fanboy of either platform. I’m platform agnostic. That is, for me it’s about solutions and benefits. Period.) Presuming it was some sort of friendly industry gathering (at Google?), what’s Woz supposed to say, “No, I’m not going to pose for a photo in front of the Android statue?” If he then, then what kind of story would be spun-up?

Perhaps it just shows how interchangeable the two platforms are, or are perceived to me by one – one and a half? – “industry leader”? For the love of God, they’re phones…Not religions. Not political parties. Not even sports teams. The unfounded hype attached to technology by the technology sector is getting nauseating.

Or perhaps it’s just a slow news week?
