Google Analytics (3rd edition) – Chapter 4

Consumed => “Google Analytics (3rd edition) – Chapter 4 (The Settings Dashboard)” by Jerri Ledford, Joe Teixeia and Mary E. Tyler.

=> Key takeaway:

— Page 40: “One thing you should be aware of when adding someone else to your Google Analytics account is that once you grant that person access to your account, you’re also granting him or her access to any other web site that you’re tracking.”

In other words, while it’s convenient to have multiple sites under a single Google Analytics account, it’s not always ideal if you’re wanting to share any of those sites, and only a single site out of a bunch. Keep it simple, set up an account for each site, and just suck it up a bit when you have to log in/out separately to each.
