Getting to know WordPress taxonomies

Consumed => “The Ultimate Guide to WordPress Taxonomies” by Jean on WP Mayor.

Nice overview. Not much I didn’t know but maybe you’re interested?

There’s a list of taxonomy plugins towards the bottom. In case you’re wondering, this site actually uses Joost’s Simple Taxonomies. That structure is then enhanced with a couple custom-coded functions.

However, going forward, I have since graduated to ZYDAC’s Ultimately Taxonomy Manager for other projects. I think I’ve mentioned why I’m doing so in previous posts. I’m certainly pleased with Simple. I love the way CA rocks. But Ultimate has a couple extra features that I couldn’t resist.
