Drinking too much of your own Kool-Aid?

Consumed => “Just Because You Can Doesn’t Mean You Should” by Bill Taylor on HBR.

=> My value add (i.e., left a comment)…

The key state here was: “…Why did (presumably) smart executives…”. The myth is, it’s smarter at the top. The truth is very often it is not. IQ is helpful but it’s not a license to thrill or a freep ass to C Level-dom.

My intention is not to criticize. I’m simple pointing out that income and/or position doesn’t make anyone less human, or for that matter more human. Those who forget this, or conveniently overlook it are vulnerable to major snafus. Regardless of their IQ, too much of your own Kool-Aid can undermine anything.

The question is, where the BoA execs drinking cherry, grape, or orange?
