Discovering ExpressionEngine’s preload_replace

FYI => A couple weeks ago I started the development phase of another project in (the CMS) ExpressionEngine. In the process of vetting a couple project specific ideas I came across preload_replace. In that moment my EE world changed.

ExpressionEngine aficionado Low does a great job running down some use cases:

Preload_replace is going to be great for interpreting segments and constructing EE channel select statements on the fly. In fact, I’m already putting it to good use. If you’re not familar with preload_replace I recommend you check it out.
