Well, at the very least you might want to consider sewing on some wings.

It’s no longer a simple silo’ed world where you just take the pieces from each independent silo and put them together like a linear puzzle. Things have changed. Today’s environment is closer to a sophisticated crossword puzzle. Vectors across. Vectors down. And on top of that they’re often woven together like fabric.

All that said, in many regards the fundamentals have not changed. All the technology mambo-jumbo won’t fix a crap company with a crap product / service. A sucky brand is still going to be a sucky brand. Now that 20th century spin marketing is dead there are a lot of outfits that are going to have to get their stuff together. But as well all know, no one wants to hear their baby is ugly.
