Well, that’s the $64,000 question, isn’t it? The networks have impact. The ads have impact. The landing pages have impact. The time of day has impact. The price/offer has impact. Etc. Etc. Etc. And then there’s social media, as well as organic traffic and associated keywords. Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics). They say Web 3.0 is going to be all about big data, analytics, etc.
While I understand your time for such analysis antics is probably very limited, the fact is there’s a whole industry of professionals that focus on such things. Perhaps it would be worth considering getting some assistance? Not only would this also be an opportunity for you to learn but having an objective third-party parse your data could give you a perspective that you might not be able to take on your own.
Finally, in the mean time, I recommend Avinash Kaushik blog Occam’s Razor (http://www.kaushik.net/avinash/). Avinash is The Analytics Man. He also has a couple of books. He might not have the answer to your question(s) but he’ll give you the tools you need to help you find such answers.
