Good stuff. Well said. Thanks Mark. No doubt an article more need to read and embrace.

Summing it up to a broader more universal level:

1) Statistic can be made to lie, deceive, twist the truth, etc. Whether those figures come from the federal reserve or a Fortune 50, data is often presented selectively to serve an agenda. “Question authority,” is as relevant as ever.

2) What that said, all data / reports have caveats. Without such contexts pretty graphs are just that, pretty graphs. Don’t be fooled by pretty graphs and PowerPoint screen transitions.

3) I think it’s interesting (and commendable) that a web analytcis metric is being applied offline as well. Further proof that Web 3.0 is about analytics, big data, etc”?
