Read paragraph one. That’s not just individuals but whole companies and sometimes even entire industries. We are often the victim of ourselves.

Success often does two things:

1) It creates a sense of being untouchable. That the same “skills” that carried you from point A to point B are the same for point B to point C.Obviously, in this changing world, that’s often not true.

2) A fear of not being as successful. We innovated and then we stop. Why? Because, as the article states, we’d rather do the wrong thing well then the right thing not so well.

The cycle continues.
