3 great custom Google Analytics reports

Consumed =>”3 Awesome, Downloadable, Custom Web Analytics Reports” by Avinash Kaushik.

Great post! Long but great. I’m going to have to re-read it tomorrow.

Great post! Thanks for sharing the custom reports.

About the only thing I would suggest others consider is using Google URL Builder to tag any/all outgoing links. If done properly you’ll get much more granular data. For example, was the traffic from Twitter from the link on the profile page, or a post link? How much traffic came from employee email signatures down to the individual employee?

These are all great reports that would benefit from that add level of detail.

I just realized I also have Avinash’s book, “Web Analytics – An Hour Per Day.” I had read a couple chapters a few months back but then got distracted. Just yesterday I pulled it off the shelf. I’m going to start up on it again real soon. As usual, I’ll be sharing a key takeaway per chapter. Crazy coincidence, eh?
